Perpignan Via Domitia University is a human-scale, dynamic, local and multidisciplinary campus, turned towards South Catalonia and the World.
Each year, it trains around 9,500 students in Philology, Languages, Human and Social Sciences, Law, Economy, Management, Hard Sciences, Sport, Tourism, etc.
Beyond its academic subjects, UPVD positioned itself in the field of renewable energies with its Master of Solar Energy, backing onto the DERBI innovation center, and an engineering school: Sup EnR.
Rewarded with a Labex and an Equipex in the solar field, the Catalan site “Perpignan-Font-Romeu”was rapidly promoted among big international research centers of the speciality.
UPVD developed strong thematics in its various offices: sports at Font-Romeu, tourism at Mende, urban planning law at Narbonne or “Tech. de co.” at Carcassonne. Let’s underline the good quality of life of this southern city, located between sea and mountains, an hour away from Barcelona.
Opened on the city and the world, Paris Diderot is a multidisciplinary research university. At the crossroads of knowledge, interested in the debates of today’s society, it is a meeting point that encourages exchanges and innovation.
Multidisciplinary since its creation in 1970, it has always given importance to the dialogue of knowledge and it develops more and more study programs and multidisciplinary research projects. It owns one of the biggest university library of Paris (the Grands Moulins library) and several specialized thematic libraries.
Every year, it welcomes about 29,000 students split into three main fields: health / sciences / arts, literature, languages, human and social sciences.
With 87 laboratories, it is one of the most important French research universities and it collaborates with numerous foreign universities around the world.
Its main campus is located in the 13th district of Paris, near the François Mitterrand Library.

Inalco students, and those of their partners, can live an immersion experience, in addition to their studies.
Inalco offers distance learning programs by videoconference and online access to pedagogical materials: Inuktitut (Inuit language), Estonian, and soon, Swahili (African language).

Inalco is part of Sorbonne Paris Cité, which is a main actor in higher education and research in the world with 120,000 students, 8,500 professors and researchers, and 6,000 technical and administrative staff.
